I’ve now left Chicago for Grand Rapids, MI. I’m visiting my very dear friend Mike Mirza and his family here. Today, Sunday, we watched his younger brother Jeff’s soccer game and then played some scrappy ultimate. Our plans for the coming days are just to relax a lot.

The last days at North Park was a lot of fun, but kind of weird. People were just so busy with finals, papers, moving out, and packing. I was just busy with trying to see all my friends as much as I could. Me and Karin (my travel mate for these two weeks) made sure to go downtown a lot cause that was something that we both felt like we missed out on when we studied in Chicago. So we would just get on the “El” just before lunch time and spend a few hours in some cool neighborhoods like Belmont or Wicker Park. I’ve done a sincere amount of shopping already.

On Friday night (the last night at North Park for most students) I ended up going to a Columbian Dance club with some new found friends. Me coming with them was very random but turned out to be a great decision. I had so much fun. It’s amazing how you get to explore more and more things in this city…

Well, to wrap this up I’m going to give you some links with photos for you to enjoy:
