On August 19th they arrived. The new group of Americans ready for a semester as exchange students at SVF. Kaj, who had already been in Sweden for a good while came with me to Stockholm to pick up Kyra. We drove up on Monday and got there around 3 pm. After taking a few wrong turns we found a parking lot close to my friends apt, where we would be spending the night, and took the metro to downtown. When we got of at the Central Station I realized I had no idea where to go for good shopping, so we called the guy who knew, Fnan. He met us in the Old Town and showed us some great stores. Kaj’s got a great start on his new, hip, Swedish look now.
The next day we got up early and met Kyra at the airport. We drove her downtown to show her around and have lunch. We also met up with my friends and Emily Dixon who was visiting a friend in Lidingö. After a long drive back, we reached Jönköping and SVF around 7 pm. I finally got to see the other guys and it was phenomenal.
