Redwoods, Golden Gate, and Lunch in a Park

On Thursday morning Britta’s mom, Vicky, took us to a Redwood forest called Muir Wood. On the way we stopped at the Golden Gate to take some pictures and enjoy the view of the bay and the city. We also took some shots for Puma’s/Holland’s new, big advertising campaign. The Redwood trees were gigantic and it was a little big magical to walk around between the super tall trees. Vicky dropped us of downtown and after a long and nice walk in the sun we came to a Safeway. At Safeway, which is a big grocery store, we got some lunch that we brought to a park by the sea. We stayed in the park for a few hours and just relaxed. After a while another Erik arrived to the park, he was a friend of Frida’s who was studying on the Stanford University. We walked back to the main square through China Town. That was really cool, because all the signs were in Chinese and even though none of us have been to China, it felt like we were there.
Our last night in San Francisco was relaxed and nice. We had a great pasta dinner with Britta’s family and hung out with the other Swedes and Nina, and also Britta and Nina’s friend Annie. Erik gave Alexander a haircut and the girls watched Grey’s Anatomy. At 11 PM Erik gets a call from a Sam who saw our ad on Craigslist for a ride to Santa Cruz the next morning. But that’s a whole other story.
